Dear Helens Family
I am so sorry. Helen and I were hired by The Des Moines Register at the very same time and the very same department. She and I shared an apartment for awhile and over the years have been friends. I was new to Iowa, and I couldnt have had a better guide. I know she will be sorely missed, but Im sure she will be among that Heavenly Host.
RIP old friend.

I went to Church and school with Helen, Anne, David and Steve at Lincoln Heights Lutheran. I am so sorry to see this about Helen. She was always a Wonderful, sweet person. I remember my brother Terry James took Helen to a dance in High School. I pray her family may have peace with her passing and wonderful memories to sustain them. Dianne James McBroom
