I had the pleasure of serving as Ivan's internal medicine doctor for many, many years. I also had the pleasure of getting to know Barbara as well. She had a wonderful smile and she was very caring for Ivan. The love and affection Barbara and Ivan have for each other was very evident. She was a trusted soulmate and she will be sorely missed.
My prayers will be with Ivan and his entire family. We hope to see Barbara again on the last day.
