Patricia Joan Christensen

Patricia Christensen, 79, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, IA. Graveside services will take place at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Van Meter City Cemetery in Van Meter, Iowa.

Pat was born October 24, 1942 To John and Naomi (Stump) Dailey in Des Des Moines, IA. She resided in Stuart, IA until her high school graduation in 1960. After her retirement from insurance, Pat enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed reading so much that in the past she helped teach English as a second language. Her greatest gifts were her kind, gentle demeanor and sensitive heart. She will be remembered for her love of family and friends and her willingness to help anyone in need, family member, friend, neighbor, or anyone else she encountered.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Beth Dailey of West Des Moines; sister, Judy Cropp of Ankeny, IA; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
