Marion H. Morris

Marion H. Morris, 89, passed away on October 30, 2009, at Iowa Methodist Hospital. He was born on February 6, 1920, to Mable and Earl Morris in Somerset Des Moines, Iowa.

Memorial Services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, November 7, 2009, at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 3820 SW 9th Street, with a luncheon to follow the memorial service at the Church.

A burial of cremated remains will be at a later date at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville, Iowa.

He was a hard worker all of his life and a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Des Moines.

Marion is survived by his wife, Virginia, brother-in-laws, Robert and Donald Neal, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Gregory, three sisters, and one brother.

Memorial contributions may be directed toward the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in loving memory of Marion.
