Vickie Lynn Anderson, age 55, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022.
Vickie was born May 10, 1967 in Des Moines, Iowa to Paul E. and Linda K. (Bertrand) Anderson. She resided in Johnston, IA prior to moving to Lake City, IA in 1990.
She is survived by her parents, Paul Sr. and Linda Anderson; brothers, Paul Jr. (Sheila) Anderson and Brad Sr. (Kris) Anderson; nieces and nephews, Brad Anderson, Jr., Megan Anderson, Gracie Anderson, Calin Anderson, Bethany Spence, Anna Cairns, and Shawna Bunce; and a host of extended family and friends.
Vickie was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Orilla, IA after the services.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Vickie.

Angels often enter peoples lives. Vic was that and a whole lot of spitfire too! I truly loved getting to hang out with her💞 we spent 26 wonderful years together as friends. She loved escaping to our home here. She also loved to torment our dogs and they allowed it. Vic taught me a whole lot about patience . Listening & hearing even when she couldnt talk.
She will forever remain in my heart. Rest now sweet child, you are free to no more demands.
