Dennis Howser

Dennis B. Howser, 66, passed away Friday, October 30, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Dennis was born August 15, 1943 to Chester and Mary Howser in Des Moines. He retired from Titan Tire as a supervisor in 2005 after 35 years of service. He volunteered with the Bondurant Fire and Rescue and started the girls softball league in Bondurant. Dennis enjoyed playing golf and most of all, spending time with his family.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Nancy Howser; daughters, Kimberly (Gary) Jones, Kelly (Daryl) Charlson, and Michele (Kirk) Robinson; grandchildren, Hailey, Zach, Austin, Whitney, Blake, Tannah, Kodi, and McKenzie; great-granddaughters, Nicole and Taylor; brother, Neal (Sheri) Howser; sister, Glenda (Mike) Bagg; and a host of other family and beloved friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, R.C., Ronnie, and Paul.
