Pamela Kay Griffith

Pamela (Pam) Kay Griffith was born on September 1, 1943 to Arthur & Francis Angus in Oskaloosa, Iowa. She passed away surrounded by family on May 14, 2022 in Des Moines, Iowa. Pam was a long-time Ankeny resident who enjoyed reading, bicycling, and was a mean cribbage player. She spent her years doing many different jobs from bartending to being a beautician to working in the corporate world in accounts payable. She was educationally sound in various arenas, and enjoyed teaching her grandchildren when they were young.

Pam is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Lee Angus. She is survived by her son, Scott Angus; five grandchildren, Joe Fisk, Josh Fisk, Brandy VanMeer (Mike), Brandon Angus, and Breanne Angus; great grandchildren Brian Schnathorst, Thomas VanMeer, Cayden VanMeer, Niahna Schnathorst, Ian Schnathorst, Amira Angus, Bobby Schnathorst, and Lucas Shaw; as well as some of her dearest friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 2, 2022 at the Beverly Dinghy Shelter, Big Creek State Park from 5-7 p.m. Memorial cards, flowers, etc can be forwarded prior to the day of the event to:
