Ann Willene (Sullivan) Beeler, age 92, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Parkridge Specialty Care in Pleasant Hill.
Ann was born October 18, 1929 in Truro, Iowa to James and Burnice (Sinn) Sullivan.
She was a kind and compassionate person. Ann loved cooking, caring for others, and entertaining. She also enjoyed mushroom hunting. Ann and her husband, Al, owned A & B Electric Motor Service in Des Moines for many years.
She is survived by her children, Steven Beeler (Jeannette), Rick Harter (Donna), William Harter (Tina), Susan Gannon, Donald Dale Harter; daughter-in-law, Linda Williams; ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and many other extended family.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred “Al” Beeler, son, Jack Williams, and granddaughter, Angela.
Services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Burial will take place at 1:00 p.m. at Rosemont Cemetery in Lacona, Iowa.

I just saw this news and wanted to send our sincere sympathy upon Ann's passing. I had the privilege of being her (and Al's) legal advisor for many years. As my secretary used to comment "Ann is your favorite client!" She was!

Mom, Arleen, told me that Aunt Ann had died and I was so sorry to hear it. I know you all will miss her. She was a kind and loving person. May she rest in peace.

I used to see Ann in the clinic in Osceola. She was always a favorite of mine and I just thought she was the neatest woman! What a treasure who will be so missed.
