Ray was my uncle and I only recently had gotten to know him. The limited time I spent with him will always be a great memory for me, my wife and our girls. A sweet and humorous gentleman that lived a his life in an honorable way. To my aunt and family I can only offer this.....
You think he has gone on ahead of you, you feel life has lost its will,
He watches your tears he feels your pain, he is living with you still
Laying in the dark of the night when the pain sinks in and the tears begin to start
He weeps each time you cry as he lays there with you, nestled in your heart
On the days that are good you smile and laugh, and do the things you do
He watches and smiles and laughs and enjoys the moment with you too
The pain brings the tears somedays, that part never truly goes away
He weeps each time you cry and wished there was a way to stay
You too will see the light of God someday and enter through Heavens door
That day you meet again, hold hands, and walk on Heavens golden shore
The pain, the hurt and the tears will long be in the past
He will not weep now, for he knows your souls are here to last
