Glenn Foster

Glenn C. Foster, 85, of Des Moines passed away on October 29, 2009 at the Bright Kavanagh Hospice House. Graveside funeral services will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Tuesday, November 3rd at 2:00 P.M. The family will greet friends following the service at 4:00 P.M. at the Eagle's Lodge on Bloomfield Road.

Glenn was a corporal in the Marines and a WWII veteran where he was awarded the purple heart. He was a member of the VFW Post 738 and had worked for Champion Glove.

He was devoted to his wife and his family and survived by his wife Darlene, 8 children, 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
