Ron, you had a magnificent sense of humor. You got it from your mom, Opal.
I had hands down the hardest laugh of my entire life with you when Opal told us the story of her and your dad, Russ dog. I cant remember the dogs name. It was smart, scrawny, ugly and had an attitude. It may have been a Jack Russell Terrier.
For some reason the dog became upset at your dad, who was in bed, under the covers, naked. The dog sought out your dad, lifted its leg and peed on himand then ran for its life with Russ in hot pursuit. Your mom appreciated the necessity of perspective and graphic detail in a story, and this time didnt let us down. She unabashedly described what she was looking at as your dad went through the bedroom door as fast as was humanly possible on his hands and knees. I thought they were going to have to call an ambulance to untuck us from the fetal position, we were laughing so hard and so long.
I will never forget you.
