Marilyn was a wonderful Christian woman who radiated the presence of the Holy Spirit in her life. She was always encouraging others in their walk with the Lord. We will miss her. We cannot be at the visitation or funeral, but we wanted to give honor where honor is due.

Marilyn (as well as Bud) was a great friend for many years. We sang in the Berean choir together, did Road to Calvary, etc. Her friendship, kindness, prayers, will be remembered by me and others, along with her sweet smile.

I just wanted to say how much I always appreciated Bud & Marilyn. Buds contagious smile and laugh. And Marilyns Spirit. She always knew the right words to say that always encouraged me and lifted ones spirit. Even though you she was struggling herself. Prayers for all the family.

Sincere condolences to Marilyns family. Marilyn and I worked together in the late 1980s in the Emergency Dept Registration at Iowa Lutheran. Later, I would bump into them when Bud was getting cancer treatments. I was saddened when she posted about her latest health event. She will be missed.

Marilyn was a dear friend. I will miss her as will many others. She was such an encourager and I looked forward to her posts on Facebook - but most of all to being with her these past months. She is reunited with Bud, but most importantly, she is with her Lord and Savior --

Marilyn was such a precious lady! I looked forward to her encouraging morning posts. She and Bud were among the first people I got to know at Berean. I have such wonderful memories of both.
