I worked with Leona for almost 20 years at Farrar. She wore many hats as a secretary and librarian and also as a fill-in nurse, cook, teacher and principal. Leona was always ready to help out to keep everything running smoothly at Farrar.
Leona was my coworker, but also a great friend. We would enjoy going out to lunch during the summertime, a treat for all of us who worked during the school year. I made many fun shopping bus trips with Leona, Sandi, Karen and others to the Twin Cities, KC and Omaha.
Leona had a lovely smile and was a dear friend to many. She was kind and caring and dearly loved her family.
Sandi, Karen and the entire family, I hope all the wonderful memories will bring you comfort and peace.
With Sympathy and Friendship

I worked with Sandi at the Principal Financial. While working there we were good friends, road the bus together, I hiked at the Thomas Mitchell Park were Mike was park Range, talked about our children, etc. I was sorry to read of Sandi's mother passing away. I have lost my parents and understand the pain of the loss. Sandi and her family have my sympathy for the loss of their mother, grandmother and so much more. Blessings
