Our sincere sympathy to Alex's family. We met Alex about 10 years ago as he and others were visiting in Ohio and working on genealogy. He was instrumental in bringing our family connections together. The short time we were together, we knew he was a special young man. Now that we've read so many memoirs of his life, we know what a wonderful husband, son, grandson, brother, uncle and friend Alex truly was. May peace and love continue to be with Alex's family and friends during this difficult time. You are all in our prayers.

My deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to both families. I hurt for your sad loss. Although I never met Alex, I was blessed by having known Dan and Paula for many years. By extension of those two good people as his parents, he would have unquestionably been a fine young man and a good person to know.
