Patricia Winchell

Patricia Winchell, 90, passed away May 1, 2022 at Southern Hills Specialty Care in Osceola, Iowa. Private family services will be held later this month.

Patricia was born January 19, 1932 to Ronald and Alice (Dawson) Moomaw. She was born and raised on a farm in rural Norwalk. She moved to Des Moines after marrying Dean Winchell. In 1955, they moved back to Norwalk and she lived there until moving to the care facility in Osceola. Patricia loved camping and boating. She was a great cook and loved Sunday dinners and taking care of her family.

Patricia is survived by her sons, Rex Winchell and Greg Winchell; daughter, Sheri Winchell; grandchildren, Haley Winchell, Scott Winchell, Carly Winchell, Jamie Winchell and G.W. Winchell; great-grandchildren, Wilder, Madison, Gavin and Gabbi; sister, Ronda Beck; half-sister, Christine Roux; and a host of nieces and nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dean Winchell.
