I just received news of Stan's passing today, 6/1/22. Stan was a good, caring and hardworking man. My sons Jamie and Joseph McAbee have cared about Robert in a special way, as do I, for many years. It was just one of those things that Robert (and Rico when he was younger) can spend hours together out in nature, watching movies, dropping Thanksgiving meals on the floor. But Stan and I interacted on Robert's behalf over the years, and I know that Stan truly loved Robert and Rico. He loved all of his children. I am filled with sympathy for the entire family. I know Stan will be deeply missed.

Stan's mother Bea is a very dear friend of mine and it breaks my heart to know that she has lost a loving son. I have warm memories of Bea sharing the good times she had with Stan and I have sweet memories of my own time together with Bea. I send my love to Bea and my deepest sympathy to all her family.

Im just an old Advance Auto customer who developed a friendship with Stan. I had old cars with countless problems and he was always there to guide me with his knowledge and experience. What a great guy. It was always a pleasure to see Stan whether at his job or car shows.
