Audrey Goode
April 12, 2022
Audrey Ellen Bloudil Goode passed away April 12, 2022. She was born June 28, 1932. She was adopted and loved dearly by Paul and Lily Bloudil.
Audrey and George Clint Goode were married on November 4, 1951. Together they had two sons, Richard (Rhonda) Goode and James (Nancy) Goode. They were blessed with two grandchildren, John Goode and Amy Hartz (Luke), great grandchildren Taylor (Ben), Drew, Kyle, Kole, Trevor, Jacob and Emma. The couple spent 70 wonderful years together.
She attended school in Ware and graduated from Havelock, Iowa. Audrey attended UNI and AIB, and worked at Northwestern Bell, before meeting her husband-to-be George on a blind date. Audrey began working in the fields with George and his family, and then spent the remainder of her working years at Goode Greenhouses.
Audrey was president of the PTA at several Saydel schools and was a member of Bethany Reformed Church. She loved cooking, traveling with George, spending winters in Florida and summers at their home in Clear Lake, Iowa. Her love of flowers was obvious every summer, and her yard was full and beautiful.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Monday, April 18, 2022, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, with the funeral service on Tuesday, April 19, at 10:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Pine Hill Cemetery following the service.

My sincere condolences to the Goode family! May the Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you! I will never forget when I was doing my work internship at Goodes Greenhouse and Audrey walked in the sales room and asked who has the car from Pocahontas county? It turns out Audrey went to school with my mom and dad!!! Audrey was quite the lady!!! Blessings to the Goode family!
