Michael Tassin

Michael Tassin, age 58, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022.

Mike was born November 30, 1963 in Des Moines, Iowa to LeRoy and Janelle (Sales) Tassin. He graduated from Southeast Polk High School in 1982. After high school he worked for 3E as a laborer. He also worked as an installer at Schaal Heating and Cooling. He was united in marriage to Ramona Summers in June of 1984. The couple later divorced. Mike enjoyed playing on pool leagues and Harley Davidson motorcycles. He liked working on cars and other things. He was a very handy man.

He is survived by his daughters, Erica Tassin and Eliza (Jon) Lower; grandchildren, Trinity and Teegan; parents, Janelle and LeRoy Tassin; siblings, Laura (Donnie) Bailey and Craig (Jodi) Tassin; half-sisters, Shelly (Baron) Byrd, Angie (Matt) Buettner, and Jori Vezina; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation will occur and there will be no services held at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

I have known Mike a long time. I enjoyed playing basketball over the internet with him.. He always won !!
