Linda McKeehan

Linda Lou McKeehan, age 74, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines.

Linda was born August 25, 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa to Robert Lee and Cleta Mae McKeehan. She worked for Nations Bank as a bank teller for many years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and doing yard work. Linda liked crocheting and playing online games. Her family was her first priority and she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Linda was stubborn and hard-headed, but caring and loving at the same time.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Carol (Mike) Walls; brother, Bill (Beth) McKeehan; sons, Clyde “Willie” Bill Taylor, Jr., Robert “Robbie” Thomas Taylor, James “Jimmy” Edward Taylor (Serena), and Michael “Mikey” Allen Taylor; daughter-in-law, Ruby Taylor; daughter/granddaughter and caregiver, Tyneka (Ced) Taylor; twelve grandchildren; and Xavier Taylor among 33 more great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her spouse, Clyde Bill Taylor, Sr.; parents, Bob and Cleta McKeehan; sisters, Janet Faye (John) Taylor, Joanne Gay Webb, and Julie M. Ray; and brother, Robert Lee McKeehan, Jr.

A celebration of life will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
