Rose Mary Medina, 95, passed away March 21, 2022 at Trinity Center at Luther Park.
Rose was born October 11, 1926 in Lehigh, Oklahoma to Paul and Cora (Hernandez) Maldonado.
Rose is survived by her children, Nick Medina, Sr., Maria (Gary) Toney, and Debra (Mike) Mann; daughter-in-law, Sandy Medina; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Inez, Delores, and Mary Linda; and brother, Oscar.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Medina; and son, Joe Medina, Jr.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2022 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. also at the funeral home, and will be concluded with burial at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Rose.

I worked with Rose for several years at W.P. Johnson. Hard worker & a great lady. I've always admired her. I know she will be missed terribly.
