Diana (Gentosi) Evans, 91, of Indianola, passed away March 19, 2022 at MercyOne Hospice in Johnston, Iowa.
Diana was born September 20, 1930 in Des Moines to Aristide and Antonia (Corso) Gentosi.
Diana was a lifelong member of the Vittoria Lodge. She enjoyed spending time with her family and working on craft projects. She worked for Bryan Animal Hospital in Des Moines for 24 years.
Diana is survived by her loving daughters, Billie Ramey, Toni Marinaro (Tom), and Terri Grail; siblings, Ted Gentosi and Amy Copley; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Evans and her son, Robert Evans.

Dee was a gentle and compassionate human being and she demonstrated it daily. It was a quality about her that I truly appreciated. She was at Bryan Animal Hospital during the time I knew her best and I remember how kind she was to the animals that came to the clinic. During that period, she always had a dog in her lap or in her arms. I sincerely believe that you can just about gauge the size of a person's heart by their love of animals. I'm glad her recent suffering is over but I know she will be missed as a Mom, grandmother and great grand mother. May the whole family find peace by reflecting on their best memories with Dee.
