Matthew "Chuck" O'Dell

Matthew Ryan “Chuck” O’Dell, age 46, was born March 23, 1975 in Des Moines, Iowa to Michael O’Dell and Margaret (Antenucci) French. He earned his wings on Friday, March 4, 2022. Chuck grew up in Des Moines graduating from Lincoln High School in 1993. He worked as a construction estimator throughout his life. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and being with his family. His daughter, Addy, went everywhere with him. The sun rose and set around his baby girl.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Annie; daughter, Addy; mother, Margaret French (David); brother, Michael “Bubba” O’Dell (Jenny); best friend, Josh “PZ” Goode; and many other loving family members and friends.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Michael O’Dell.

There will be a celebration of life from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
