Sandra C. Walker

Sandra Colleen Walker, 71, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022.

Sandra was born July 6, 1950 in Ames, Iowa to Orlan and Gloria (Davis) Eggers. She graduated from Ankeny High School and earned her AA degree from DMACC in Horticulture. Sandra was a member of Capitol City Church and loved gardening. She retired from Iowa Methodist Hospital where she worked in the housekeeping department. Her greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughters

She will be greatly missed by her sons, Stephen (Jennifer) Walker, Kris Walker, and Kasey Walker; granddaughters, Shannon (Marty) Lewis and Rylie Walker; great-grandson, Boone, and one on the way; sister, Jerri Hughes; and many other extended family and friends.

Sandra was preceded in death her parents, husband, Clyde Walker, Jr.; and her brothers, Michael Eggers and Steven Eggers.

According to Sandra’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services held at this time.
