Sincerest sympathy to her family. I worked with her at Equitable of Iowa. I learned so much from her, Carol, and Geri, especially on our breaks. I'm blessed for having known her. They were most kind and patient with me. Again my sincerest sympathy.

Harriet and Dick were wonderful to us when we lost our home in the Pleasant Hill tornado in 1983.

We have been neighbors for many years, but have only gotten to know her and Dick the last few years, after we retired. We enjoyed going to their neighborhood party, where we got to know them, and others around us. We are blessed having so many wonderful, caring neighbors on our street! Its nice to be able to watch out and rely on each other when needed, and vice versa! Harriet will be really missed! Our condolences to Dick, and all the family! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😢😢

We offer our deepest sympathy to Dick and the rest of the family. We loved being Harriett's neighbor. She always had a smile and some conversation when we walked by--actually, we never just walked by-- she always asked us to talk a while and so did Dick. We tried to make sure we were in town for the annual gathering in their back yard; it was such fun to visit with neighbors of all ages.
Harriett will be missed.

Harriett was married to my grandfather for 55 years. They had a love unlike any I have ever witnessed in my life. Harriett was always so loving and inviting. She was a wonderful woman and will be missed. I could talk to her for hours.
