Reiker Thomas Burkhiser and Vandon Marx Burkhiser, twin sons of Kyle and Melissa (McHugh) Burkhiser were born on March 7, 2022, and passed away shortly after at their home in Clive, IA. They are loved beyond words and however brief their time, the memories of them will last forever.
Left to mourn are their Mommy and Daddy; grandparents, Tom and Barb (Reichardt) Burkhiser of Red Oak, Terry and Paulette (Marxen) McHugh of Ankeny; uncles, Wade Burkhiser of Austin TX, and Matt (Emily) McHugh of Des Moines; along with many other relatives and friends.
Preceding them in death were their paternal great-grandparents, Gilbert and Thelma Burkhiser, and Robert and Loretta Reichardt; maternal great-grandparents, Roland and Lorraine McHugh, and Larry and Zelda Marxen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

Dear Kyle and Melissa, in these difficult days it is not easy to find any words to bring you comfort. I cannot wrap my mind around the pain you are going through. May you find peace knowing those sweet little boys are sharing their time together and looking down on you and will provide you the strength you need.
