Ethel K. Jackson

Ethel "Kay" Jackson, 59, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 25, 2009.

Kay was born November 6, 1949, in Des Moines to Robert "Rocky" and Zelda Wilson. She worked for several moving companies and has worked in the accounting department for Lewis System of Iowa for the past 12 years.

Kay is survived by her husband of 26 years, Pat; children, Dan (Kayla) Jackson, Tessa Contreras, Jackie Shreck, Rochelle (Frank) Foster and Todd Jackson; 12 grandchildren, two of which she helped raise, Travis and Keshia Baughman; five great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Wilson; and her sister, Jeanie Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Debbie Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
