Deborah Shiffer

Deborah Shiffer, 52, died Monday, February 5, 2007 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service on Friday.
Deborah was a lifelong resident of Des Moines. After the death of her husband, Rusty Davis, she was left to raise his two children and also her daughter. Deborah enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Deborah is survived by her children, Michael, Rusty and Shannon Shiffer; mother, Loretta (Stan Gullion) Lamb; companion, Ron Biddle; siblings, Bill, Vickie, Barbara, Donny and Kathy; grandchildren, Ethan, Meeah, Taylor and Austin; and several other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rusty Davis; son, Daniel Davis; brother, Ronald Shiffer; and her father, Van Shiffer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
