Thibieng Phongvixay

Thibieng Phongvixay, 78, passed away March 6, 2022 at Unity Point Iowa Lutheran Hospital. She was born June 5, 1943 in Son La, Vietnam to Saum Lovan and La Thi Lo.

Thibieng is survived by her husband, Sivilay; sons, Tony Soun Phongvixay and David Seng Phongvixay; daughter, Kimberly Phongvixay Jones; grandchildren, Amy Marie, Matthew Bruce, Timothy Lee and Michael D. Phongvixay, Tatyana Martin, Aurelius Jones and Patience Jones; and her great-grandchildren, Rayden, Madilynn, Sophelia, Ronin, Ryder and Renzo.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. Burial of cremated remains will be Monday, March 14, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Glendale Cemetery - Tai Dam.
