My sincerest condolences to you Etta and your family. Don and I became dear friends while attending Dowling Catholic High School (Class of 1962). In 1966, Don became my daughter Theresa's Godfather. I have wonderful memories of the times we were able to share. Our love and prayers for you and your family.

I've been friends with Don for 52 years and worked with him at Firestone and Iowa Realty. He truly was a larger-than-life personality and a joy to be around. He is gone too soon. Rest in peace, my friend. You earned it. All our love to you, Etta, and your family.

This is the toughest condolence I have ever had to write.
Donald William Huffy has been my best and dearest friend since age 5. I dont know how I could ever have made it through childhood without this dear man. He and I shared many adventures and misadventures during our formative years. Im so proud of his accomplishments including graduating from Drake University and becoming an accomplished real estate sales person. His love of life and his wonderful wife Etta is known to all of his friends and family. I will miss our weekly Iowa football and basketball banter but most of all his sense of humor and his love for me and mine for him. Rest in peace my good friend. Until we meet again.
Ps. my best wishes to Mickey & Alan. You had the best brother any one could ask for. God Bless.
