We will miss your laughter and your smiling face and your eyes closed up when you almost fall over when laughing so hard and tears fall. Last time we saw you, you was working out so hard trying to get ready for weight lifting match, but life started happening for us and we didnt get to come see it or even know if he went there, but we said we would be there for the next one. We both loved you so very much and we are saddened by his passing but know that he is in a better place now with no more pain. We are sending out prayers and sincere condolences for the family and hope your family will get some peace knowing you are surrounded by the Lord.

We may not understand why sad things happen, may it somehow help to know how much we care.
We wish to express our sympathy in your loss and to let you & your family know that our thoughts are with you.
Big Dave was an inspiration.. He lived his life as it was, never complained & never asked for a thing. He brought joy to those he touched & met. He laughed loudly to let you know he was listening. He never judge & loved all. Something that many of us forget, & take for granted; Big Dave did not. Thank you Big Dave you left in imprint in many lives especially ours!
Please accept our heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your loved one.. We will always have those baseball memories and just hanging out memories!

David will be missed by so so many people. He was one of the greatest people in my life. And he gave me a home when I was in need. I remember the last time I went and seen him in west Des Moines. It was a great day. We talked for hours. He was a big teddy bear. And a loyal friend. He will always be in my heart ❤. And family and friends always in my prayers. God took his pain a way and gained a angel. Boys you made your father proud. God bless you all!!
