Marilyn Kay Brower

Marilyn Kay Brower passed away on February 26, 2022, at the age of 80. She was born on February 1, 1942 to Carl and Ella (Pardekooper) Brower in Iowa City, Iowa.

She graduated from Mount Ayr High School in 1960 and moved to the Des Moines area shortly after graduation. Marilyn worked for and retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
She enjoyed cooking, fishing, gardening, and reading the Sunday paper.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and four sisters.

She leaves behind a daughter, Lisa Higgins of Des Moines; grandchildren Andrew Sullwold of Norwalk and Jonathan Sullwold of West Des Moines; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There are no services planned at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Marilyn’s name.
