Regina L. Lockman, 62, passed away February 23, 2022 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Regina was born January 2, 1960 in Des Moines to Reginald Atkins and Iola (Turner) Moore. She graduated from Des Moines Public Schools. Regina loved to cook and feed everyone! She was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Regina was caring and giving and always took people in as her family.

Regina is survived by her daughter, Katiya Bell; her grandchildren; sisters, Lisa Johnson and Vanya Clark; brother, Andrew Moore; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reginald Atkins and Iola (Turner) Moore and her daughter, Thuressia Smith.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
