Sitting here thinking about the first time I met Marlene with Wendell & Wes & realized we were both from small towns, Iowa (9 miles apart - Milo & Lacona) and then only lived a few blocks apart in Urbandale. That is when our journey began togetherfamily get togethers, dinners, playing cards, traveling the U.S. (cars/motor homes), Europe, cruises, winters in AZ. So many great memoriesand yes a few disagreements😊 but the best thing about them both was their love for their family and friends and all they did for them.
It saddens me that I am unable to be at the service this morning in Iowa but know that you are all in my thoughts, prayers and heart. God Bless! There will always be a special place in my heart for Marlene and Wendell❤❤
