Scott E. Wright, Jr.

Scott E. Wright, Jr., 82, went to be with his Lord February 21, 2022 at Colonial Springs Healthcare in Buffalo, Missouri.

Scott was born December 14, 1939 in Des Moines to Scott Sr. and Frances (Lacher) Wright. He worked as a mechanic most of his life. Scott enjoyed singing, teasing his loved ones, building and fixing things with his own hands. He thrived on helping others, serving his Lord and spending time with family.

Scott is survived by his children, Scott Wright III, Sharon Applegate and Kimberly Wright; stepchildren, Michele, David and Holly; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Joann, David and Wayne; and a host of nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Scott was preceded in death by wife, Ethel; his son, Kenneth; daughter, Rhonda; grandchildren, Camille and RJ, his parents; and six siblings.

The family will greet friends Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 28th at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Scott will be laid to rest at the Berwick Cemetery.
