Paul Albert Juber

Paul Albert Juber, 84, passed away February 14, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.
Services will be held Monday, February 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mission Church, 12001 Ridgemont Dr. in Urbandale, IA with visitation 1 hour prior. Burial will be at Brethern Cemetery in Panora, IA. The service will be livestreamed.

Paul was born December 27, 1937 to Grace (Shellabarger) and Clarence Juber in Des Moines, IA. He graduated from North High School and served in the National Guard from 1956-64. He worked for the Des Moines Postal Service downtown and was a
landlord and home inspector for the City of Des Moines.

He married Helen Cockerham in 1980 and the couple was blessed with twins, Kevin and Carla though Carla was stillborn. Paul enjoyed racquetball, and proudly followed Kevin around to his baseball games and practice sessions, supporting him faithfully. Paul was a member at First Federated Church, now the Mission Church, for nearly 50 years, where he also served as a deacon for a period of time. For the last 20 years, Paul could be found at one of five places: church, home, the gym, the bank or the convenience store.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Helen Juber; his son, Kevin (Haley) Juber; and a multitude of loving family members and friends.
