Bona Rossi

Bona Rossi, 75, passed away on February 12, 2022 at Glen Oaks Alzheimer's Special Care Center. She was born May 22, 1946, to Enzo and Rita Rossi in Bore, Villa Minozzo, Reggio Emilia, Italy.

She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and Vittoria Lodge. Bona enjoyed cooking, listening and watching maggios (small Italian open-air operas) and spending time with family and friends.

Bona is survived by her husband, Vannuccio Rossi; three sons, Doriano (Rebecca) Rossi, Amedeo Rossi, Marco (Susan) Rossi; six grandchildren, Angelo Rossi, Mario Rossi, Sofia Rossi, Giorgio Rossi, Grace Rossi and Vannuccio Rossi, and her sister, Claudia (Servilio) Borghi, and many other family, friends and loves ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Servilio (Claudia) Borghi.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, February 18, 2022 at Christ the King Catholic Church, with burial immediately following at Glendale Cemetery. A celebration will follow burial back at Christ the King Parish Hall. A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2022 with a Rosary service at 7 p.m. in the Parish Hall at the church.
