Trisha Kunze

Trisha Louise Kunze, 23, passed away surrounded by family on February 13, 2022, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. Trisha was born in Des Moines on May 2, 1998 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center to Russ and Susan Kunze. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

Trisha always excelled at sports and was a phenomenal employee at Wells Fargo. She was the best aunt, and adored her niece and nephews. Trisha was also an avid animal lover. She cherished her dog, Jeter. She truly had a heart of gold.

Trisha was a beautiful, kind, caring, person with a magnetic personality. She lit up every room she entered. To know her, was to love her. She was incredibly loved by all who knew her, and her presence here on earth will be forever missed. Trisha is now resting in the arms of Jesus and we are at peace knowing we will be greeted by her at the Gates of Heaven.

Trisha is survived by her parents Russ and Susan Kunze; sisters Amber (Demico) Terrones-Deeds and Traci Kunze; grandparents Patricia Louise Terrones and Judean “Deano” (Margaret “Peg”) Kunze; nephews and niece Demico Jr., Dominéko, and Demiyah Deeds; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Tracey Lee Kunze; grandfather Anthony Terrones; and uncles Michael Berg, David Reimers, and Randall Dale.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, February 22 at Ss. John and Paul Catholic Church in Altoona, IA with burial to follow at Altoona Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Ss. John and Paul Catholic Church Monday, February 21 from 6:00-8:00 pm.
