Michelle Lynette Sanford, age 52, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022.

Michelle was born March 29, 1969 in Des Moines, Iowa to Max and Rita Sanford.

Michelle loved to read books, scratch lottery tickets, and spend time with her grandson. She cherished her cat, Baby Girl.

She is survived by her daughters, Katie and Kenzie McConnell; grandson, Ares Grim Woods; sister, Toni Golly; brothers, Mark, Matthew, Martin, and Monte Sanford.

Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Rita Sanford; sister, Vicki Sanford; and brothers, Max Jr. and Michael Sanford.

Cremation will occur and there will be no services held at this time.

Michelle was so full of life. She was always happy to talk with you and share pictures of her cat. She brought an energy to the facility that was enjoyable. I drove her to several of her appointments and she would enjoy listening to KGGO with me in the van. Michelle was loved by many of us and will be missed by all of us.
