Debra Daughenbaugh, age 66, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2022, at Sunny View Care Center in Ankeny. She was born in Des Moines on March 17, 1955, the daughter of Bill and Joann Sloan.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Chris, David (Amanda), and Robert (Randi); grandchildren: Miranda (Ben), David Jr., Lexie, Addie, Natalie, Kaileigh, Shelbie, Dillon, Brooke, and Colton; great-grandchildren: Bella, Chance, Aubrey, and Delaney; siblings: Steve (Keely) and Kathy; as well as other loving family and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Joann; son, Paul; brothers, Bill and Mike, and her nephew, Greg.
No formal services are planned at this time.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Debra.

My condolences to the friends and family of Debbie. She used to work in the office building I worked at many years ago and she was always so friendly and pleasant as she did her daily tasks. And her smile always cheered me up. Know that she touched a lot of lives in a very positive way.

Dear Daughenbaugh Family,
I knew Debbie at DCHS; I was so shocked to see she had passed. I always enjoyed chatting with Debbie and have such nice memories of our friendship. After she retired from DCHS, she was missed by all. My deepest sympathy to you all.
