Merna Brown
February 08, 2022
Merna Brown (Weidman) was born in Marengo, Iowa, on February 22, 1928.
She was a great-great-grandmother, a great-grandmother, a grandmother, wife, mother, sister, and friend. She retired from Kellogg’s in Omaha, Nebraska, after 30 years.
Merna’s spirit and innocence was like no other. Although tiny in stature, she was the biggest littler person you could know; kind considerate, and always looking out for others.
Merna loved to dance, play some slots, and most recently, watch some football.
She is survived by a sister, two daughters and a stepson.
Her tiny flame will burn in our hearts forever.

I, as well as everyone in our apartment complex, will miss you terribly. You were so very friendly, warm, sweet, considerate, kind and funny. You just lit up a room when you entered and your smile was contagious. I was honored to know you just the short time I did. Will miss you terribly!

I'm so sorry for your loss. It is so hard to lose our elders. May you find joy and peace remembering her and sharing stories. Take comfort in knowing that she is always with you and watching over you.
