Marie Annette Keith, age 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.
Annette was born June 14, 1935 in Melcher, Iowa. She attended Melcher-Dallas High School. Annette married Albert Keith in the late 1950s and was primarily a homemaker for her family. She was a strong woman. Annette enjoyed going to Prairie Meadows, reading books, watching television, and drawing or doodling.
She is survived by her son, Jimmie (Amanda) Keith; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Eugene Keith; four children, Andy Gene Keith, Jackie White, Johnny White, and Jodie Parker; sister, Marybelle Worthington; and brother, Andy Cocker.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022, also at Hamilton’s, and will be followed by burial at Dallas Cemetery in Dallas, Iowa.

Dennis, Teresa and I are sorry for your loss of Grandma "A". Our Love and Prayers are with you. From your sharing of her life experiences, she was a remarkable lady raising her family and being there for her grandchildren. May you have peace and comfort in the days ahead that you were able to spend much of your life with her over the years being there for her as much as she was there for you. She went gracefully and on her own terms peacefully. She will always be looking down and smile with pride of You, Jess and Jack of what you have and continue to accomplish.
