Patricia Little

Patricia Little, 81, passed away at her home on Saturday, February 5, 2022.

Patricia was born May 3, 1940, in Des Moines to Orrie and Meta (Smallwood) Fisher. She was a food service assistant for many years and also worked for Northwestern Bell.

Patricia was a faithful member of Capitol City Church. She enjoyed gardening, camping, and reading. Her pride and joy were the vast garden that she canned numerous vegetables from and in turn fed her family.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Carl of 62 years; son, Tom (Vickie) Little; grandson, Zach Little; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant sons, Steven and David Little; siblings, Raymond Fisher, Beryl Fisher, and Judith Fisher; and grandmother, Irene B.

Visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Friday, February 18, 2022, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. A graveside service will be held following visitation at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Mercy Hospice or Home Instead in loving memory of Patricia.
