Service Details

Suzette “Sue” Wing was a caring person to everyone one she encountered over the years. She left this world on Monday February 1, 2022.

She was born to Norman and Louise (Ruby) Davis on August 18, 1954. She attended Saydel High School. Sue went on to marry Roy Berry (twice) and had two amazing children together: Janice and Troy. She then attended DMACC to become a phlebotomist and worked at Lutheran Hospital. Several years later she found the love of her life, Craig Kilts and they spent many great years together.

Sue was a patient kind-hearted person who was easy to talk to. She took people in her home when they did not have a place to stay. She enjoyed painting ceramics and burning wood with her brother-in-law and sister-in-law. She would spend hours talking on the phone. She was a lady that never took no for an answer. The saying was if you wanted something done call Aunt Sue. Those closest to her were baffled by the things she was able to accomplish. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed all the pranks her son played on her. She enjoyed watching Steve Wilkos and the Golden Girls.

Sue is survived by her daughter Janice (Matt) Pinegar of Des Moines, Step Children Scott (Beth) Kilts of Des Moines, Tina Kilts-Manyette, and Jeanette Grady; Brother Kenny (Debbie) Davis of Des Moines. Grandchildren Jordan Berry, Tori (Tyler) McGinnity, Skylar Berry, Paige Pinegar, Isaiah Berry, James and Faith Kilts, Markel and Montez Sheley, Jacob, Jonathan, and Cathy Manytte. Great grandchildren; Javen Berry, Paityn and Jaxyn McGinnity, Kamari, Zander and Azarion Sheley. As well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Sue was proceeded in death by her husband Craig Kilts, Mother; Louise (Ruby) Davis, father; Norman Davis, brothers; Norman Jr. and Chris Davis, Sister; Becky Davis, son; Troy Berry. Her ex-husband and great friend Roy Berry.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2022, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines.
