Ronda Pauline Walker-Zepeda, 59, passed away on January 31, 2022. She was born in Des Moines on January 31, 1963, daughter of Robert and Sherin (Johnson) Walker.

Ronda was an avid Saints fan and she loved coaching softball. She never missed an opportunity to cheer on her children and grandchildren at their sporting events and numerous activities – they were the apple of her eye and brought her so much joy throughout her life. Ronda treasured every individual relationship she built with each of her children as they were special and unique in their own way. She touched so many lives and her legacy will live on through every person who was blessed to have known her.

Ronda is survived by her children; Jessica (Ross) Guenther, Tigre (Matt) Leichliter, TyAnn (Brady) Ellis, Corey (Cierra) Walker-Zepeda, Tory Walker-Zepeda and Chad Walker-Zepeda; grandchildren, Chloe Zepeda Guenther, Aydan Guenther, Allie Guenther, Taren Leichliter, Keaton Walker, Cienna Walker, Casen Ellis and Brynley Jo Ellis; mother Sherin Walker; brother, Bobby Walker; aunt, Wanda Jones; uncle, Clement (Carolyn) Johnson and many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and special friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Timothy Zepeda; father, Robert Walker; brother, Chad Alan Walker and her grandmother Goldie Alexander.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Ave., Des Moines. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 3, from 5:00-8:00 p.m., at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines.
