Debbie Miller

Debbie Miller, 65, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022.

Debbie was born July 25, 1956 in Wheeling, West Virginia to John Wade Miller and Ruth Eileen (Way) Miller. She was one of five children. She had been a resident of the Des Moines area since 1969.

She enjoyed listening to and singing music, watching Golden Girls and Wheel of Fortune with her best friend, cheering for the University of Iowa, and visits from friends. Her favorite journey was to Disneyland to see Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Deb is survived by her sister, Paula Miller; dedicated service providers through REM Iowa, Link Associates, and Suncrest Hospice.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruth Miller, three siblings, and her housemate and best friend, Angi Fields.

Memorial contributions made to be directed to Camp Sunnyside/Easterseals Iowa.

There will be a celebration of life at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Des Moines Mennonite Church, 4001 56th Street, Des Moines, IA 50310. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens. ***MASKS ARE REQUIRED***
