Blanche Anderson

Blanche Anderson, 101, passed away on January 26, 2022, at Fleur Heights Care Center.

Blanche was born September 4, 1920, in Mystic, Iowa to Fiorelo and Violet (Peek) Poli.

Those left to honor Blanche’s memory include her brother, Raymond (Myrna) Poli of Chariton, Iowa; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Blanche was preceded in death by her parents, Violet and Fiorelo Poli; two sisters, Florence and Helen; four brothers, Albert, John, James, and Charles; husbands Merle Price and Arthur Anderson; son Larry Anderson; and daughter Judy Brose.

Blanche was my next door neighbor on Fairlane Drive in Des Moines Ia. I was in grade school and Jr. High school during the time I lived there. I used to babysit for Doug and Judy Brose - her daughter and son-in law. She was a beautiful lady and always treated me well. I was in her home many times back then and she kept a beautiful home too. Great memories of her. Rest In Peace Blanche.
