Glenn Moore

Glenn Laroy Moore, age 71, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at VA Hospital in Des Moines.

Glenn was born August 27, 1950 in Marshalltown, Iowa, one of three brothers. He graduated from high school and went right to work as a furniture mover. He did that for many years. Glenn proudly served in the United States Navy.

Glenn met Connie when she was working as a waitress and they later married. They welcomed one child, their son, Joe. Glenn enjoyed cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and loved to golf with his brother and son.

He is survived by his son, Joe (Victoria) Moore; brother, Alfred (Tami) Moore; and his grandsons, Joe Jr. and Michael. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, wife Connie, brother Terry, and daughter Stacey.

There will be a committal service on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Iowa Veterans Cemetery, 34024 Veterans Memorial Drive, Adel, IA 50003.
