Rosina Tabi, 63, passed away on January 25, 2022, at EveryStep Kavanagh House.

Rosina was born July 26, 1958 in Ghana to Kwadwo Abunyewah and Akua Arko. She moved to Des Moines, Iowa seven years ago. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church and helped maintain their gardens.

Rosina is survived by her husband of 42 years, John Tabi; children, Victoria Tabi, Mavis Frimpong, Samuel Atta Frimpong, Benjamin Tabi, and Eunice Owusuanokye; 14 grandchildren; sisters, Felice Pokuah and Yaa Bosuo; brothers, Kwaku Agyei and Kwabena Badu; in-laws, Francis Owusu-Anokye, Sarah Kondu, and Judith Obeng; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

Rosina was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will greet friends Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. A celebration of life will follow at Saylorville Event Center in Ankeny, Iowa.
