Michael Neal

Michael Neal, 69, passed peacefully surrounded by his family that he loved so much on January 23, 2022.

He was born to Ray and Betty Neal on November 11, 1952 in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated from East High School and after that he attended Drake College. Mike worked for Lomar Distributing until his retirement.

Pops was an avid sports fan. He loved watching his Cubs, Cowboys, and his Iowa Hawkeyes. He really loved his old TV shows that were in black and white. He really enjoyed watching his boys play baseball and he was always there for games. He was a great man and will live on through all of us. He was the funniest person you would ever meet. He made us laugh so much.

Left to carry his memory are his partner Kim, his sons Daniel (Heidy), Matt and Nick, his grandchildren Connor, Haley and Aubrey, and all his friends and family.

You fought hard Pops. We will carry you with us forever.

Mike’s wishes were to be cremated and a celebration of his life will be at a later date so we can celebrate him at a ball game.
