Dear Vaunnetta, Shelby, James, and Family:
We were so saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved Jim who passed away so recently. On behalf of our 59 class at North High, I wish to convey to you our most sincere condolences. You and Jim and your children have had a wonderful life as he was obviously a very dedicated and loving husband and father as well a fine Christian man. It seems far too often that one of our good friends or love ones are passing away and leaving us. One thing for certain, from your descriptions of Jim and of your family, we know you will miss Jim greatly but realize he is now in heaven and smiling down upon all of you. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you in the difficult days that lie ahead. God bless you one and all.

I have so many fond memories hanging out at Shelbys house growing up from your Dads Crystal Gale records, driving us to deliver the Shopper, and setting up a tent for us to camp in the front yard. James was a sweet, thoughtful, dedicated family man. He was SO proud of you kids. Sending healing and light.
